Nintendo will debut a new trailer for its upcoming “The Legend and the Lore” adventure game on Monday.
The trailer opens with Link being transported from the Land of Ooo to Hyrule, with a message on the front of his shirt saying, “You will return.”
Link’s head shows him his old homeland and reveals that he is a descendant of the “King of Ooh” who came to Hyrulean land to destroy the forces of darkness.
Link is greeted by a familiar face, a young boy named Kakariko.
The video then opens to an image of Hyrule and Link’s hometown, Linkwood, and a new image shows a scene with Link and his friends as well as the Hyruleans in battle against the evil “Din’rood.”
Link then turns around and finds that the Link to Zelda: The Wind Waker DLC, The Awakening DLC, and The Minish Cap DLC have been released and are available on the Nintendo eShop.
The DLC also includes an exclusive costume and a special ability.
The Legend of Link: Breath a Wild also features new maps and a handful of new weapons, including a bow and a sword.
Nintendo will host its annual E3 press conference on Monday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m.
PT (6:00 a.m.-1:00 am ET).
