The Summer Movie Awards, held at the Globe and Mail in Toronto, are here and they’ve got their new winner in the form of the blockbuster Teen Beach Movie, starring Emma Stone.
The film earned the top prize at the ceremony and, despite the fact that it was released in 2017, is still available on the internet for streaming.
The movie, which stars Stone and the rest of the Teen Beach cast, is the second film from the new Warner Bros. slate, following Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Superman: The Dark Knight Rises will hit theaters on March 25.
The Teen Beach movie was nominated for three awards, including Best Motion Picture, Best Foreign Language Film and Best Foreign Director.
It was also nominated for Best Picture, but was ultimately handed to Disney’s Frozen.
This year’s winners for the Teen beach movie were:The film won a total of five awards including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Music Score.
The winner for Best Musical Score is also Emma Stone, who has scored the film’s theme song “Teen Beach” in a tribute to the movie’s cast.
